High Point Ranch is a family run farm located in the Cariboo of BC. We take great pride in raising high quality well raised protein for our communities, as well as dairy companions for the homestead. We raise beef, lamb, and heritage pork – as well as East Friesian sheep and Jersey cows.
We are Joe, Katey, and 3 wee boys! We were Langley (Brookswood) born and raised, we met there, got married in the Lower Mainland and found ourselves searching for more.

Why High Point Ranch
On our farm we believe there is a reason we were created the way we are. There is no need to try to play nature, when it already knows what its doing! We slow grow our food and breed traditional/heritage breeds. We don’t use anything but nature to grow our animals. We take great pride in being hands on with each and every animal on this farm. We know them, our children run among them, we cherish them, we appreciate what they offer for us.

When it comes to options for raised right meat, I never really found many . I was stuck in a apartment knowing I wanted to be buying ethically raised protein, but finding it a little harder to do than I thought. I had high standards, admittedly, but the heart wants what it wants! I seeked small scale, conscious practices, family farms – and I did find a few. I felt there was still gaps in what I was looking for.
It was a Wednesday that I got this wild idea to move 4 hours from everything we had ever known to open a farm. I had a dream and a basic book about farming, and a husband who would support me in any venture – what more would I need. Truthfully nothing, because here I am living my dream.
It wasn’t just a dream, it was a promise to my family to create pure and honest nutrients for them. It was a promise to my community to check the boxes that had been missed.
